Southland Community Nursery
The Southland Community Nursery in Otatara is a place where people can come and pot up native plants for free, learn about native plants or just help out in the nursery on Fridays.
We do not sell plants but will help you to choose the right plants for your situation. We recommend using Southland-grown native plants.
The nursery is open for school visits by arrangement and open days and training days for plant propagation are held during the year.
