• Family Bike in day Queens park.
On the 20th February 2010 as part of Bike wise month. Twenty five Mums, Dads and children arrived at 1pm at the Queens Park Band Rotunda with bikes and helmets, ready to take part in the Family Bike day.
All were given questions and clues to answer in the bike day challenge.
Finding out numbers of turtles, eggs, names of statues, name of the Kune Kune pig at the park and so many more.
The challenge finished at the Band Rotunda, where prizes were given to the bikers.
All who participated had a great time biking around and learning more about what's in Queens Park.
• Sandcastles for Climate action.

We invited Invercargill and Southland people to come and build sandcastles and cities on the beach, and then watch them being washed away by the tide, illustrating how powerless humans are in face of rising sea levels.
